Terms of Use#

By downloading, installing, or using edg (“the Software”), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

License Grant#

Your license entitles you to use the edg binary on the number of machines specified by your plan. Each activated machine counts as one seat.

Restrictions#

You may not:

1. Sell, sublicense, or transfer your license key to any other person or entity.
2. Use the source code for commercial purposes, including building products or services that compete with or derive revenue from the Software.
3. Copy, fork, or redistribute the source code in whole or in part.
4. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software binaries.

Disclaimer of Warranty#

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

Limitation of Liability#

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS, COPYRIGHT HOLDERS, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY - WHETHER IN TORT, CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE - FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE, DATA LOSS, COMPUTER FAILURE, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Cancellation Policy#

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing lic@edg.run. Upon cancellation:

1. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
2. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period.
3. License revocation occurs automatically when your billing period ends.
4. Data retention data is stored in accordance with Stripe and LicenseSeat policies. See Privacy Policy for information.

Termination#

Violation of any of these terms may result in immediate suspension or revocation of your license without refund.
